Bruce Whealton is an American poet, publisher, editor and web designer/developer. Bruce Whealton is co-editor with Jean Arthur Jones for the online magazine Word Salad Poetry Magazine. Bruce Whealton lives in North Carolina. He has seen many of his poems published in various books, journals/magazines and on the web.

Bruce Whealton has a diverse background of skills and experience ranging from his creating writing to technical areas. The latter skills are in the web and information technology fields. Bruce Whealton is owner and web developer for Future Wave Designs, a web and information technology firm.

Formal Education

Bruce Whealton graduated from Southington High School, in Southington, CT in 1984.

Bruce Whealton attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1984 through 1989, earning the Bachelors of Electrical Engineering Degree in December of 1989, with a specialization in Computer Engineering.

In May of 1996, Bruce Whealton earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina.
