Review of Memoirs of a Healer
Here is a review by a friend of mine on the book "Memoirs of a Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton." If you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read it for free. The link is https://whealton.info/memoirs
The review is as follows: Bruce Whealton’s autobiography, “Memoirs of a Healer/Social Worker” is a stunning portrayal of a man who grows up as a shy boy, overcomes his abusive family to become a successful professional only to face a shocking grave injustice at the end. It is the type of book that one can not put down. I was captivated by his book and was up till 2am reading his book one night. I couldn’t stop thinking about how much he suffered and endured. As I read the book I care about him as a character and want him to find justice. His writing is vivid, descriptive, easy to read and filled with emotion. There are also a couple of very romantic love stories that show his sensitivity and concern for the well being of women. It took a lot of bravery and courage to write this book. I highly recommend it.
